Johnny Lesley – Hometown Northport, Alabama. Sings baritone and is the MC for the Heartmen. 

Johnny is very ministry minded and believes prayer is vital to the heartbeat of this ministry.  Whatever we do seek God’s blessing and approval. 

Johnny enjoys being a father.  He has one daughter – Julia, who is a sophomore at the University of Alabama, majoring in nursing.  One son Trent who is a “Heartmen” as well. 

Johnny was raised on Southern Gospel Music and comes from a singing family.  His great uncle Adam was a shape note singing school instructor in West Virginia.  His dad has been his greatest supporter, and is a great bass singer. 

Johnny’s past group experiences include groups such as “The Camp Meeting Quartet”, “Crystal River Quartet” and “Chosen Witness”.  He has been with the “Heartmen” since February of 2007.
