I want to start off by telling you about the most important thing that happened in my life, about 11 years ago when the Lord came into my heart. The day before my 16th birthday is the day that changed my life forever; that's the day I got saved. It was after I got saved that God so graciously chose me to sing the Gospel. I started singing the bass part in a southern style quartet at the age of 16. Shortly after that, some guys and myself from Friendship Baptist formed a church group call The Friendship Quartet. Unfortunately, the group only lasted 4 years and then disbanded in October of 1993. Only a few weeks after that, I helped organize a group called The Heartmen Quartet from Columbus, MS. My dad, who died on November 12, 1993, is the originator of the name "Heartmen". It's truly a blessing of how God has worked and the group has come together the way He intended. I would like to thank the Lord for letting me be included in His wonderful plan. I would also like to thank Him for giving me a family of my own and giving me parents that truly love God and me. Thanks for putting me with a group of guys who love to sing for You as well as I do. I love You, Lord.
